Hearing the Zulu lyrics of these songs is beautiful to me. I get transported directly to Africa. My favorite song from this CD is "One by One".

The man singing this sounds eerily similar to Freddie Mercury in "Who Wants to Live Forever" It's beautiful and haunting...

I should look up that character sometime! I'm always wanting to learn more about Disney, the behind-the-scenes stuff, the in-story stuff, and everything in between. Thank you for pointing me to a vantage point for gaining further knowledge! And...your grammer's not all that bad. Why, I've seen worse from people whose first language is English! (Example: "death perception" instead of "depth perception".)

Il più bel film Disney : Il Re Leone, si può percepire sentimento , Amore per la Vita , il presente con le radici del passato per guardare il futuro ::-)

I just added this song to a playlist of songs that are dedicated to the memory of someone who passed away recently. It seemed appropriate to have this song on the playlist, given the translation of the Lyrics from the Zulu language.

If it wasn't for the album "Rhythm of the Pride Lands" there would be no Broadway musical of "The Lion King" the album was a huge inspiration for the musical.

This album was pretty much the entire inspiration for the play. The song "Lea Halalela" was put in the Broadway play too as Shadowland. I doubt there would be a Lion King on Broadway today if it weren't for this album.

There is no La La in Zulu. lala and sala are the same and in the phrase lala kahle (or sala kahle) it means both Good Night and good bye or in this case, farewell and sleep well.
