Laura was a favorite of Johnny Carson. He's who she keeps looking at, when she looks to her right and smiles wickedly. She's admitted the crush was mutual. She also sang "I Found Someone" that night. No watermark to distract from the performance.

I think music is such an emulsifier, it touches us deeper than any other stimulus. When things happen, and there's music attached, it etches into us. Becomes a memory that never leaves us, and anything around us stays attached to it. She knew that, it's why she preferred to sing sad songs, they stay with you, they become more than just a memory.

Jack Ryan

I remember being home on my first winter break from college and I had to watch The Tonight Show before going out to a party. I recall that Ricky Nelson's plane went down and he passed on this day as well. Funny how certain things stay with you.

Laura Branigan Forever

Great song and performance! with many balloons seem like they were celebrating something. I love this moment 3:00 of the chorus singing: "One more night, I do not miss you, one more day, I'll be all right", after her final move 3:43 and finally her beutiful gaze 3:57, moments to admire.
