saw them @ Alberta Beach, in the 70's. Surprisingly, awesome band. Played, Zep, @ others. They rocked that beach hall. ;)

being that im only 24, I only knew of the version by Pearl Jam, which is my favorite and very good, but every version of this song is so amazing due to such meaning behind the song!

I remember this song in 1974. I Loved it then and I Love it now. All 3 hit versions of this song are excellent. I do prefer the Pearl Jam version a little more than the other two.

I think people are just making pointless versions of this song. It was alright when Wayne did it. It was pure gold when Frank & the cavaliers did it. If It ain't broke don't fix it!!!

While I know this is a remake, this version is the prettiest sounding I've ever heard as well as being the 1st time hearing it. The way that Wenzday created the music has always made me imagine the couple all the more heart felt and his last precious spent moment with her last breath asking just his holding her all she wanted as it would comfort his mind knowing she had to go but would be waiting for him to join her later. how I wish to have some that selfless to love. Thank u
