I remember when this tune came out. It becqame my theme song ever since.Larry was a Angel of Light sent by God to send us a good message. His passing away was the only way for him to get back to Heaven.RIP Larry!

This band was smoking hot back in the day, some real live chemistry happening between the rhythm section s well as some fantastic, tasteful guitar solos. Groundbreaking stuff. Larry Norman with both feet in heaven

Had this song in my head this morning so I came hunting it down. I have to say the ritual of listening to it on vinyl is preferable, but the convenience of the cloud can't be underestimated! The next song on the record was "Watch what your doing"

I have a hard time finding old Jesus rock from the 70s and 80s. It was definitely the Golden Age, IMHO. I guess the fact that, mainstream churches hated it back then (mainly the 70s), those who played did it out of love for it and God, and not just "to get into the industry". I kind of wish churches still banned it from their services so we wouldn't have to put up with the lackluster commercial crap of today.
