Based on album cover photos of the day, the fact that he was still using Mesa/Boogie amplifiers, and that the studio version of this song is from the "Strikes Twice" album (1981), I'd say this is early 80s.

Damn!... i learned so much due to that music....it allowed me to play keyboard in many other parts of this world that i may have not otherwise had a chance to see. it changed my life. sigh
