This is a great example of why I want the whole artist playing his instrument, look what we miss when we cannot see the artist playing his instrument. :-))) Just magnificent the whole package. Based on album cover photos of the day, the fact that he was still using Mesa/Boogie amplifiers, and that the studio version of this song is from the "Strikes Twice" album (1981), I'd say this is early 80s.

@GaryNull yeah man...WRVR....woooo...man...i wanna go back in time....human kind is being cheated....time for that asteroid to come and set things straight...lol Man this music made me so happy back then..still does brings such great memories..........Does everything have to be about money money money? Damn!... i learned so much due to that music....it allowed me to play keyboard in many other parts of this world that i may have not otherwise had a chance to see. it changed my life. sigh
