One of my favorite Kiss songs of all time. I grew up listening to the Alive version over and over and over. Never grew tired of it. Easy to see the "demo" version here is a thousand times better than what appeared on the 1st LP. Who knows why decisions were made to hire this guy or that guy, but the overall passion of this demo is hard to miss. Only complaint is the drums sound awful. Kiss had a terrible drum sound until Destroyer

I am just wondering here. All over the net. When someone is challenged on info that they post or if someone disagrees with them then the name calling starts. In all of my years I have found the process of learning from someone else an enjoyable process and not worth the name calling. When both sides are able to articulate an opinion or argument without resorting to derogatories then both parties involved come out better and smarter. Why is it that we seem to have lost this since the internet has come along. Is it because we know we cannot be touched when posting online.

Kiss really fucked up and made a dumbass move by not letting kramer do their stuff, its funny, all of th e demos sound better than the actual songs lol

Ace came in after Strutter was recorded, he played on Deuce, but not Strutter, so he was there.

+dajzilla What do you mean Peter can't play drums? First of all, you can't really judge this sense this is an early demo. Second, I happen to think that he is a good drummer (but not the best In the world) and the beat he uses in this song fits it perfectly. I'm a drummer myself and although this isn't very complex, it works.

Holy shit. Peter Criss can't play the drums worth a fucking shit huh?! God DAMN he's awful! I can't believe Gene and Paul settled for that crap. I wonder if it's because he had such a cool singing voice? Even though, IMO, they never really took advantage enough of it. Then again, KISS has never been know to actually be very good musicians so...

I remember having the same feeling. If it wasn't for Ace, and Peter doing their part on the albums, DYNASTY, and UNMASKED, I honestly think I would've cried at that age!!!
