So thankful for these old videos. They show how important Ace Frehley is to Kiss. They were at their best when Ace was with them!!!!!! Ace Frehley Rules!!!!!!

@mkl62 Oh man, Carolina Colliseum back during the Frank McGuire days. Good times. I saw 'em in 1976 at Williams-Brice, great show.

I saw KISS for the first time in June 1979 at the Carolina Coliseum in Columbia, SC. Whiteface opened. They did not play this that night, but later added it replacing Gene Simmons' Radioactive.

I saw them twice in 1977; San Diego (8th row floor seats!) and Oklahoma City. Cheap Trick opened in San Diego and I think UFO opened in Oklahoma City. Both shows were amazing. They were at the height of their fame and sounded incredible. It was the tour that produced Alive II.

@victorero2006 I like Tommy Thayer, he's nowhere NEAR the awesomeness of Ace but he's an alright guitarist. His singing on the otherhand....

It's funny. I hardly ever see positive comments about that Thyer guy. Poor him. Mimicking and imitating the only ACE. Ace was so good that he actually had to leave KISS, because he was VERY good for KISS. Without him, kiss does the same thing that my gfriend does to my ........

Peter Criss was the worst drummer ever! You can hardly hear the drums when he plays. No wonder they used phantom drummers on several albums.
