By KISS' fruits we know them. A man is known by his deeds. If I were president I'd be known as highly political. If I owned, lived and worked on a farm I'd be known as a farmer. If I often sang about satanic sentiment, dressed in sinister costume complete with fake blood, added theistic satanic messages such as 'children rise and kill your parents', took on the stage name of one of satans demons I'd be in satanism; the 3rd definition of which is: 'diabolical or satanic disposition, behavior, or activity.' So mince words and play games all you like Gene and band, but the culmination of what you are is clear as crystal; You espouse satanism, and that has always been known.

I always suspected Gene had something to do with these religious people attacking the band. KISS was around for ten years at this point and never really had any problem with religious people attacking the band and or it's fans as they did on the Creatures of the Night Tour. Gene is a smart business man and knows that even negative publicity is good publicity! It's just my opinion, but I suspect Gene some how instigated this "negative" publicity to create word of mouth about the tour and new album.
