Killing Yourself by Alice in Chains from their first single EP, entitled We Die Young (July 1990). This version is pretty rare, seeing as how the EP was only released on vinyl & cassette & is much better than the faster-paced demo version where Layne makes the monkey noise in the beginning.

Why are you tired of remastered music? Sometimes, older music needs to be cleaned up and clarified a bit. Even this version of this song sounds a bit muffled and could use some remastering, I think. It's not discrediting the integrity of the song. It's just simply a bit hazy and could use some clarification by the original owners of the master tape, which was more than likely recorded at London Bridge Studio, Seattle & Capitol Recording Studio, Hollywood.

Yeah, but, it's in mp3 format right here on my YouTube channel. You can use the YouTube-to-mp3 converter online and get it. Problem status: solved.

if only they put it on Facelift...i hope to see a 25th anniversary version of Facelift coming soon with this and all the awesome demos they recorded but never released. Queen Of The Rodeo alone needs more attention!

They should've put this song on Facelift. It's got the style to it.

@UnseenAGT 1996 was their final show while opening up for Kiss' reunion tour. AiC was put on hold from Summer '96 until April 2002 when he died because his drug use was too bad for the band to continue.

@SalandFindles Its just my personal belief that any band should just change their name once a vocalist leaves let alone dies. I know theres been lots of instances in the past with changes in vocalists that were better than others (for example acdc). I would actually probably maybe even be a fan of the band with Duvall on vocals if they would have changed their name. It bothers me that they kept the name. I didnt know either that he put AiC on hold either; explain. Is it because he died?
