Its a pity they didn't didn't go on to bigger things other than Eurovision. They were a talented band, that had the world at their feet, and they fizzled out into obscurity.

They played at my university hall of residence in December 1988 and were superb, in fact one of the best concerts I have ever seen. It was a blistering set delivered with verve and panache. A truly great band whose performance that night sticks in the mind. I saw them in 1995 at The Mean Fiddler in Harlesden and they were great then too. The Eurovision win was stunning vindication for all the years of not being properly recognised for their talent. 'Love Shine A Light' is a brilliant song as well. There is some footage on You Tube of Katrina predicting they would win, and in hindsight it is obvious, but she called it absolutely spot on in advance. The irony is that the Eurovision win was the beginnning of the end as musical differences set in and they split. I hope they will reform as I would love to see them play again but somehow it seems unlikely.

Thank Gawd for Kimberly Rew and all the great bands from the 80's who wiped the awful taste of the 70's from my mind!  And let's hear it for the Soft Boys and the Bangles too!

They were a breathe of fresh air....Loved them alongside the Paisley Underground bands out tat that same time....The Dream Syndicate, Green On Red, Lone Justice, REM, The Long Ryders, Let's Active, Rain parade, Bangles, True West...etc....and the Aussie contingent of The Church and Hoodoo Gurus...
