The picture is a fake. Moon doesn't look any bigger at North Pole. This sort of horizontal crescent is impossible at poles - its crescent would be +-23° from vertical. Horizontal crescent is only possible between the tropic circles.

The whole point of Capercaillie is to modernise Gaelic music. Some of their songs are in English but most Scot's Gaelic and I don't think they want them translated. I don't think it would sound very good in English as the words are very different. I'm willing to learn Gaelic just to understand these songs. :)

Lovely, thank you for uploading. I will have this song playing for background music at my wedding dinner. Seems appropriate. ^^ For my fellow Capercaillie fans and newbies alike, here's a link to their site. capercaillie.co.uk/discography/lyrics/moon/

My favourite Capercaillie album to date. They seem to to be true to the traditional roots, while at the same time renewing and enriching them with modern recording techniques.

I hope everyone realizes that this picture is not real and has nothing to do with the North Pole. The moon is telescopically magnified, the sun not. (Anywhere on the earth, they appear approximately the same size.) The "mountains" are software generated. As art, though, it's not bad.
