Solid cover, but it sounds like the mixing engineer did a rush job. It's almost like it was mixed live, and they just forgot to go tweak the final version.

Though, they don't do the "Better... It couldn't get no worse" part in the first verse, I do like it. Not as good as the fab four, but getting there one day. I hope David doesn't hate on my critique, though.

the problem with covers is they either alter it in a way that isn't a creative twist on the original or cover it so like the original that you'd just prefer the original which is this case

@RVDBWOW I'm not sure if that a praise or not for KCs but I don't care either way.. I liked this version maybe as much as the Beatles.. but I came here to say if you like the engineer you should read Geoff Emmerick's book about working with the Beatles starting with Revolver when he was 19 (!) through St. Pepper and the 'awful' White Album sessions.. it's pretty fascinating!
