I can think of 1000 ways Stevie would have taken this song to be a great song by putting his trademarks all over it -- the perfection of making sure each line was delivered the best it could be. He was a master -- it's why the new Journey songs can't get off the ground. It doesn't matter if their a good song. They won't be great without the love and care Perry gave every line in every song. Love you and miss you Stevie Ray. Your voice will live in my heart forever!!!

No one could ever replace Steve Perry's vocal talents. That being said, Steve Augeri made a great effort and overall, I truly believe this album was very under-rated. It has some great songs on it, with this track being one of the best rockers Journey had done in years. Augeri was not only a good singer, but the man was a total class act and a very nice guy to boot. I sent him an e-mail once and actually got an e-mail back from him...not from an answering service or a web assistant. We talked about family and his voice issues....even about where I was from. I was floored when I received the e-mail and even questioned it being genuine. I really think he got a raw deal from Journey but that's a whole other long discussion. Glad Augeri's voice is better and he is back doing what he loves to do.

Journey without the Steve's is not the same. Don't get me wrong this sounds great, Castronovo is an animal but for me is like the "Bad English" project, is not Journey.

This singer sounds totally awesome........and the quality of the music hasn't changed a bit. One member does not make a band. But yes, it's a fact that not every band can pull it off. Journey just happens to be one of them that can.......and DID! Just like UFO, everyone thought that when Michael Schenker left that the band was through. So far from true! UFO has had 5 or 6 guitar players since Schenker left, and every one of them has their own unique style and sound, but yet it never changed the kick-ass sound of the band as a whole one bit! I wish this was true with every band though, but it's not. For some reason or another, some bands just can't pull it off.
