I love this entire album and Trial By Fire. I am glad the CD's last longer than cassettes, because mine have been used and abused for a very long time. I had to get the remasters because of the bonus tracks, but the originals are still great.

Guys, Steve Perry is the best of the very best! just love his voice.....The new Asian guy on the band today is no match to this voice in anyway..nowhere close to Steve!! I am an Asian myself.....so there is no bias here ok!

I saw both Journey's live concerts 30 years apart. Arnel had the energy the 2nd time like Steve the 1st time. I enjoyed both shows. Hope another tour with whoever (Steve would be OK though). Just listen to the music.........

One of the select few bands I enjoy viewing/listening to their live video's. I don't think I've ever seen a Journey (Steve Perry era) live video where the music wasn't just spot on perfect! Despite the problems that caused the band to fracture, these guys obviously had a helluva time together onstage back in the day and it shows. Hope to hear more from Steve Perry soon given his recent impromptu appearances with a band called Eel.
