This song doesn't have one word in it that isn't spot on truth. It's a beautiful song that promotes peace and caring for the people of the earth. War is the worst criminal act there is and it's perfectly legal. Like this song says it really is murder and bloodshed and that's all. Someone should put all the war mongers, soldiers, navies, air forces, and marines and the most war mongering band ever IRON MAIDEN in a locked and bolted room with " I Don't Want To Be A Hero" playing nonstop or else just put all of them in prison. It takes a fool to join a military. Plain and simple as that. This is a big day for my country America and the world- TURN OUT AND VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON!

This is a talented man and group. I needed to play this several times to get the point so excuse my tasteless earlier comments. Sometimes standing up to injustice is braver than becoming a slave to an evil system. Mankind what have we done to the earth? Look at it. War destroys the soldiers the very people it is supposed to promote. They are thrust into violence, horror, and pain like he says in the lyrics and I think he at one point refers to one of the worst obscenities of it: POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER. That is something I have now chronically as my life has been an endless war. I was beaten and thrown into darkened closets and abused as a child. Now I am a victim of chronic P.T.S.D from parental abuse. War is merely subjecting young men to abuse and destruction. No glory is to be found in dying long before your time and violently. A very good hearted song. Protest pop at its finest.
