I can't believe I'd never heard this before. That's by far my favorite Yoko vocal! Thanks for posting. I learned about it while reading Paul Du Noyer's book, John Lennon: The Stories Behind Every Song, 1970-1980.

It's Heavy Metal for Lennon. I love this one way more than the flip side. I also think Yoko sounds awesome with an echo machine, too bad nobody thought of that back in 1969. 1971,so would this be Alan White on drums or Elephant's Memory?

“Do the Oz”, a rare recording of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, the b-side of a charity single written and recorded in 1971 under the name Elastic Oz Band. The single was intended to raise money and awareness for Oz Magazine, which was facing obscenity charges in England..

This is not the version released in 1971, this is the remix published in 2000 as a bonus track on "Plastic Ono Band". It is a remix that is considerably different.

The high pitch is made by John, influenced by Yoko the same way he was influenced by Stu Sutcliffe at that time in his life. Every hardcore Beatle fan could or can come to a conclusion John needed an unconditional creative partner. Stu was shitty on bass just like Yoko was mediocre with vocals, but both seemed to take part in his life on the stage no matter what. For the high pitch he hits, listen to the 8 mins of the Dig It recording, and it's the same high pitch that ends that jam with; "That
