There's a lot of string bending to get that feel that only J Fogerty can unveil !!!!

Did anyone see this concert is he tuned to open D tuning on that LP or is it standard? The way to tell is that he plays bad moon rising and fortunate son amongst others in open D. Did he use this one for either of those in the concert?

It's a 1956 re-issue Les Paul gold top, I do believe. Could be wrong but I think that is what it is :) And the only reason it talks is because that 65 year old legend knows HOW to make it talk! :) *The B3 don't sounf too shabby, either!!*

There are some good musicians and singers, whose I like to see and hear very much. One of the best, also the best, is John Fogerty for me. His songs, his guitar and his voice are fantastic. I'm one of the greatest fans and like him very much. One time John Fogerty always John Fogerty....The King of Rock / Country / Classik / or Modern Rock...you know....Best whishes to all fans, Tommy von Hagen....Germany

I LOVE Fogerty. He's one of the best blues "shouters" as they call em but his voice now and then is no comparison. His voice has lost ALL power since the 80S or so. Sad, cause i really used to like him. Anybody who wants to disagree should first listen to Centerfield, or any of that BS he calls music. Allthough to each his own :)

Wow, saw this show on PBS last winter and became a Fogerty believer for the 2nd time in my life. He plays the guitar with a respect few can match today - no string bending, just a true rock/soul/blues player who is so connected to his art that he plays it with the same open-mouthed energy he played with in the 60s. Long live Fogerty and his music.

Woo! John Fogerty does blues! Reminds me of Albert King's 'Born Under a Bad Sign'.
