THat's not strictly true. J.C.Fogerty was rather autocratic and did not allow his brother or other member's of the band much of the spotlight, knowing himself to be far more talented than them. Lovable as J.C. Fogerty is he would have been a household name now if he had not been so litigious, look at the success of his 'Rocking all over the world' done by Status Quo and wonder, why o why he could not have been just a little more flexible towards 'his' band. His brother Tom died from AIDS.
