I was a sophmore in High school when this album came out... (I know I am conceding a lot) I bought the album because of Life Been Good to Me... Then I started listening to the album a lot) and in a very short time I thought the hit was the worse song on the album, which speaks to how good of album this is.. I love every single song on it, except the hit... I would give this album a 10, and I don;t just give those away

When I was in high school in 1978 I had this weird schedule where I had about an hour and a half break between classes during lunch.I used to drive home and put my headphones on and lay on my bed and listen to this album as I crashed.......somehow I'd wake up when it was over and go back to school!

I'm sure my sis and I wore out at least 3 copies of "Thirds" back in the early 70's. All of Joe's easy goin' country rock is timeless. The Eagles should count their lucky stars. Ringo always tried to out shine Joe on their tours but it never happened. A fabulous somewhat unsung star of rock & roll.
