Very well said. Johnny Cash is the only other artist I feel the same way about.

MASON SUMMERS

Today marks the 10th year of the passing of Joe Strummer, frontman of the greatest band of all time, The Clash. Mason Summers would never have formed if it weren't for Joe Strummer. We love and remember his career fondly.

My sister was watching a show called 'Zoey 101' on the television. I was watching with my headphones on because it looked like they where singing some of The Clash's music. Next it showed a guy on his bed talking. Behind him I saw a Joe Strummer and The Mescalaros poster. I told my sister to rewind it and I said "Look he has a Joe Strummer poster" my sistr replied "I don't know who that is you listen to crazy music" :(

Joe was the most underrated rock star of all time, which only made him cooler. The documentary "The Future Is Unwritten" is an incredible insight into the man. Kills me that The Mescaleros only made three albums. Luckily there's quite a few Clash albums. Unlike most rock stars, he seemed like someone you'd actually want to get to know.

God, I hate that he is not around, still.
