I like Joe's voice. He sang "Bright Light Fright" on an Aerosmith album, plus did some singing for his Joe Perry Project. He sounds fine here, too. I love that Aerosmith was able to get together with their idol Jimmy Page. They make no secret of the fact that they were strongly influenced by the Yardbirds/Led Zeppelin.

ya hendrix wrote it...but youre right - a 12 bar blues song is where you jam with ppl and everyone takes that solo ride for extended lengths of time....check out GARY MOORES version of redhouse.... R.I.P. Gary !! Love to hear how Gary was a nobody or a Hendrix wanna be...el oh el..

even page said when becks in his moment hes untouchable.... coming from page - the undisputed best guitar songwriter of all time in rock n roll id say thats pretty stout compliment...beck doesnt even write most of the stuff he plays... but ya cant beat what he does to a song....Or a performance..... go see him live if you need a kickstart to what jeff becks all about

they were just jamming to it dude.... spontanious solo work.... jimmy did the same thing live - he'd go off into his own world while soloing...I love the live performance hendrix did on the "live concerts" recordings... but ya know - hendrix never wrote more stuff than page album to album - track to track that had the legs page does.... undisputed best guitar songwriter is jimmy page......of all time....dont get me started on best guitarist cuz ill throw down jeff beck on ur ass..

He may have written it better but these two men are not nobody's in the slightest. I'm not a huge fan of Joe Perry or Aerosmith but as for Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page in my opinion is the greatest guitarist living on the face of the earth.
