You need to hear Donald Woods & Bel Aires-"Death Of An Angel" (1955)banned on many radio stations in mid 50s. It is not clear what the protagonist decides. Song is rather eerie. A parody of late 50s-mid 60s teen death songs was Jimmy Cross's "I Want My Baby Back"(1965). After obligatory car crash they pick up the girl’s remains (which had been strewn all over) and bury her. Cross decides he wants her back, digs up coffin, opens, get's in closes lid & sings muffled chorus "I Got My Baby Back."10 years ago
