As you can see in the video, it's just her singing, complemented with back up vocals and a piano. So that makes this version an intimate and stripped down acoustic ballad, as opposed to the original dance pop version. It wouldn't make sense for her to hit the high notes and would change the tone and mood of this rendition, I don't see how this is difficult to understand.

The fact is yes she doesn't sound as well live but think about the type of music she makes. Upbeat dance club vibe tunes. She can sing very well but she's an artist who's voice is tweaked to acompany the type of music. She is a recording artist and a great one at that. Her studio songs are banging and she still does the vocals well live. Its not just her the whole band and performance is toned down. This girl has talent she's just not the best last live performer as her voice is perfect for studio release. I bet when Shes in that booth she puts her all in for the final piece. Jeeze

Yes she CAN sing! But this is so embarrassing she didn't take the high notes of her OWN song. She's better than the Queens of Pop, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, anyway.
