I must say, this is a disappointment performance for me, because I love the song and the studio version so much, I was ready to be blown alway by Jess' live vocal, but I was hardly moved. First of all, the key was a semi tone lower, the song sounded less uplifting, plus she avoided lots of high notes, particularly the ones after the bridge. This is scary, Jess is still young, why doesn't she have the vocal range to sing the song live in the original key??!! And this is just a One Song Performance thing, can you imagine going to her concert???!!!

There isn't really anything more sophisticated about this than American music, but this a great song and I'm addicted. But just because your personal taste likes British music more, doesn't discount the great music we're making in America.
