With looks like that, I had wanted Jaye P. to stick around for us much longer. You know, the way top recording C&W star Reba McEntire has done with a successful, long running t.v. show. I guess some things just aren't meant to be. I still think there's still a lotta good wine in that bottle. And we all know what they say about good wine, don't we? The older, the better!

This was the 1st 45 rpm record I ever bought. I thought it was great until I discovered R&R, R&B and Chicago blues in 1955. It's still a good song though and good to listen to again.

I LOVED her on The Gong Show. I didn't even know she was a singer until I looked her up. I'm impressed.

Opera Buff 1935......get back to me at my email address: majskyking@gmail .com and I'll give you the Jaye P. Morgan website address and the address of the webmaster. As I wrote above, Jaye P. sang at my Senior Prom in San Diego in 1952 blah, blah, blah. Always dug her husky, sexy voice. Always liked terrapins......matter of fact, and you may already know this, there's a Terrapin Beer Company in Athens, GA. Go Terps!!

You can contact me direct, if you want, at: majskyking@gmail .com I have the email address of the guy who runs the Jaye P. website. Don't have it in my hand, but if you want it, get back to me at the above address and I'll provide you with same. Assume you're a long-time Jaye P. fan and the website is great and you will like it. Deal? Assume you live in Chi or environs. I live in Newport Beach. My mom, now gone, lived on Diversey for about a hundred years! Get back to me when you can

You can watch episodes of Fernwood on YouTube and some other video sites. Still hilarious. AND......Frank deVol indeed a funny guy as Happy Kyne. Met Norman Lear in Palm Springs years ago and asked why Fernwood and America cancelled. He told me he couldn't find sponsors.....the rest is history. Just spoke with Chuck Kelly yesterday (he was married to Jaye P for a short while).....we're getting together next week for beers and talk about music. Are you a musician AND a White Sox fan?

Hey, White Sox fan......loved that show!! Spin off of Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.....also a funny show. Martin Mull, a very funny guy, is a prolific songwriter.....I have three of his four LPs and listen when I need a friggin' laugh.....which is most of the time nowadays. He wrote: "I Just Drank Enough 'Til She Looked Good To Me", "I'm The Only One I've Ever Loved", "The Mmmm Song" and a ton of other fun stuff. "Fernwood 2 Night" spun to "America Tonight" then gone. Miss it much.

And although a great musician, composer and bandleader, Frank DeVol may best be remembered as bandleader Happy Kyne on that TV talk show spoof Fernwood Tonite.

Hey! Jaye P. Morgan helped make the Gong Show fun to watch with her brilliant wit. If that's being a "total asshole" the the world needs more total assholes.
