Discovered these cats through a Jason Isbell cover called Try, performed with I belive the 400 Unit and by Hannah Aldridge singing on her Razor Wire album release earlier this year. Epic. I have enjoyed learning Isbell and Hannah Aldrige (check her our for certain) more than any other artists in the past decade.

He is such an amazing songwriter/poet/musician/singer/artist. Its real people like Jason Isbell who should be held up and applauded! I just really hope he doesn't sell out and begin writing poppy carbon copy country songs!!! I hope he stays true to himself and remembers what he has went through and where he came from! I actually like Sirens, Here We Rest, the 400 Unit, and his live stuff better than Southeastern, but they are all works of art! He kinda has his own genre of music, not too much country and not too much blues/rock/alternative, and he really makes it work great!

Saw this band tonight, absolutely amazing. They did this song. Fabulous, tight southern rock. I seen the Allman Brothers, ZZtop, The Flying Buritos, and Little Feat. Jason Isbell's 400 Unit, up there with Little Feat. In some parts the interplay between Isbell and the lead guitarist, and the keyboard, beat the lot. See them whilst there here :-)

Imagine the irony of covering this song in a bar band... wish I could.

This is a brilliant song from a great, great album. Isbell sings it like he lives it, and is a fabulous performer. Great stuff : )
