Fuck ALS, if they need to cure a disease it's this one. Not just for Jason but for everyone who's suffering from this terrible disease. Jason is a legend and continues to inspire and show people how to live a happy and peaceful life. I discovered him and Marty two years ago and they still continue to amaze me. #JasonBecker

It's not for everyone to play something like that with a clean tone

I love the guy to bits , " fuck it man its too hard don't even try to play it " the guy played it really amazingly but just needed to practice the last bit a little more , (although its something he probably just tossed off in a few minutes anyway and was easy for him ) . that's what I like about Jason just a lovely down to earth grounded musical gifted genius with a humble and cool mentality . such a nice guy . why does shit happen to really nice people .

To: Peter Reimer,Since you removed your "reply" link and apparently don't want feedback from your comment, I'll have to respond with an open response.Your made a comment about how we need to listen to the real Baroque classical composers to appreciate the appropriate interpretations of Bach. The fact is, most of us people that love neo-classical shredders also have a deep admiration and appreciation of the classical composers. I know I do. A lot of people like you seem to think that people who love guitar shredders somehow don't know what real classical music is all about. Trust me, we do. We're not all uneducated metal heads who sit around and smoke weed all day, and have no appreciation for classical composers. In fact, a lot of us gained an appreciation for the real classical composers because of our exposure to guitarists like Becker, Malmsteen, McAlpine, Vinnie Moore and others. I have numerous recordings of Baroque & Classical music. It's some of my favorite stuff. But I also have great respect for the shredders, and love to listen to it, like Becker.I'm on the same page with you that I love classical and baroque music, but I'm also a metal head, guitar shredder lover at heart, so I appreciate the interpretations by these shredders and what they can do.

For those who perhaps may want to look for appropiate interpretations of Bach or barroque music, go (as example) for Johannes Monno (from BWV 997: Prelude & Fugue), Tilman Hoppstock (Chaconne) or Julian Bream (A-Moll Fuge / Violin Sonata fugue). You can find these recordings here on youtube. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the technical skills of Jason Becker, but by listening to these other wonderful artists you may get an imagination of what barroque music and Bach is about.
