Love this song. What a powerful video, too. This song makes a strong socio-religious statement in such a painful prayer. Thanks for uploading.

Nothing like this song when I need a good cry. ;)

I heard that Christians used to fight for better prison conditions, now it seems they leave it to the mega-dude leaders to just hand out their books to nonviolent people locked in cages for having plants.

I think it's meant to wake up people from apathy, the crescendo alone would wake you up :) thanks for the video I shared it on my blog facebook page :)

Not Christian or religious in any way but I do love Jars of Clay songs because they speak to the heart and soul.

Good luck with taking care of yourself: getting a job, getting a partner, or even having a fruitful conversation. And if you think youtube comments are inane...then at least this song should be listened to once again shouldn't it?

Bravo. I agree. It also answers that question with the fact that God included himself in our suffering in the most intimate way - being fully human himself. This Savior also said, "Oh my God, Why have you forsaken me? I believe that "Oh My God," when said carelessly is one of the most offensive things a person can say. But maybe it's also a cry out for proof of God's existence from the dryness in our souls. The genius of this song is that in the complaints of those I judge, I hear myself.

This is a video that is supposed to be for Christians. If this is the way you speak to strangers, release you anger and pray to god to cleanse your speech and heal your anger.

This song makes me cry so much. I love it so much, and honestly i think you really have to go through the stuff in this song to understand it. Otherwise it does sound weird. Idk what the fight was about but this song is very interpretive. However, this song gives me chills and tears every time i listen to it and i cant even play it because its so powerful.

I know, but sometimes you're planting the word of God without your "opponent" ever admitting you are. It's a good use of life for those who have balance in school, work personal and spiritual life. Not that those should ever be separate in my opinion.

What a mighty reminder of our inability to help ourselves. In the desert of our hearts we *all* still say and are united by our plea "oh my God." This is the song of the human race.

I love jars of clay and I would also recommend going to The Hollywood Show Parody and watch ALL of their twilight videos from #1 to #4 part 1&2
