I love Chris a martin, but Michael and his voice do not blend very well. Chris has a much higher pitched voice and Michael's is deeper and they really don't have similar voices at all. When Michael sings, it sounds like a country song and when Chris sings it sounds like a Brit pop song. Two nice voices that don't exactly mix. Like ice cream and yogurt. Don't do it bruh.

I will find her everywhere, because she will forever live in my heart, Even though I miss her still and at times I'm not sure anymore what it's all for, I won't give up because I know I will find her again someday.

Michael Stipe does not have a conventionally good singing voice, but given the context of his music and the context of this song, it fits so well. His voice has weight and gravitas; it carries the stains of  the miles traveled through all manners of mistake and redemption. All due respect in the world to the original and nothing against Chris Martin, but to me, every time Stipe sings the word "Always" it is utterly shattering.

Wow this totally trashes the original by Joseph Arthur. If i heard this first i would think it was written by someone as tone deaf as Chris Martin himself, what a travesty!
