When I picked this album up at the local record store I had never heard of about it thinking it might be all right. But honestly? I think this album is superior to The House of Blue Light and The Battle Rages On... The Deep Purple albums with Ian Gillan that came before this and the one after. And honestly better than a lot of things in Ian Gillans career.. Both before and after the record. A true hidden gem in the hardrock world. I am not knocking at anything Ian Gillan has produced it's just that good!
