Jethro Tull was a total genius band that pumped out a lot of albums. I pay zero attention to critics and pop charts. Often the best material is the stuff that the dumbed down masses and the elitist, narrow-minded critics despise. This is just another example of Ian Anderson's original vision and beautiful vocal styles.

Too bad the "new" '84 Tull logo didn't last. Up until 1991 they seemed to release new albums almost on the heels of the new Yes offerings (90125 => Under Wraps; Original Masters => 9012Live; Big Generator => Crest of a Knave; ABWH => Rock Island; Union =>Catfish Rising). Did Walk Into Light feature a live drummer, or just a drum machine like on Under Wraps?

It's such a great album, and this track is just epic, expresses so much. I've found a used vinyl version of this album coincidentally at my local record store. And man am I grateful for that!

Yes, this is a rare one. Hard to find. You could probably get it off the net though for a relatively cheap price.

I am a big Tull fan but I never heard anything of this album. I remember it got bad press on release not that that counts for anything as the reviewer was probably in love with Spandau at the time. This track sounds fine to me though doubt I will ever get hold of the CD.

And don't forget Peter-John Vetese's job on this album and on the "Under Wraps" album, he was a co-writer with Ian Anderson at this time. Already credited on "The Broadsword an the Beast" album as "additional material".

I really love this album, and that song is excellent, check also "Trains", "Made in England" and "Tode in the Hole".
