Lyrics:

I followed my heart

And it led me out to sea

Where the depths were accepting

And my reflection could be seen

Staring out at the edge of the world

You bring me clarity

And give me a sense of purpose

But I remember when you'd say

Nothing can last forever

Nothing can last forever

Permanence was the last thing on my mind as I reached out for your hand

All I wanted was the chance to say everything you deserved to hear

What if I told you, you were the only one

To get inside my heart and raise my head toward the sun and

What if I told you, that you meant more to me

Than the stars on the horizon if I were lost at sea

You gave me a place to rest my head

And get it all off my chest

To sit and watch 'The Days of Our Lives'

So young and so bright eyed

Staring out at the edge of the world

You bring me clarity

And give me a sense of purpose

But I remember when you'd say

Out of sight but never out of mind

All of the words I'll never find

What if I told you, you were the only one

To get inside my heart and raise my head toward the sun and

What if I told you, that you meant more to me

Than the stars on horizon if I were lost at sea

'I Killed The Prom Queen' is one of the most stupid band names. Apart from that they did a great metalcore album, although metalcore nowadys really doesn't have its quality peak.

I want to like this music, i really do, but i just don't see how the growling is appealing in any way.

Marcin Sahajdakiewicz

one of the worst vocalists in successful bands

The instruments make me think of The Devil Wears Prada's music from Dead Throne, but the vocals are completely different.

Jamie's vocals are different sounding from most, but I wouldn't say they're bad. If you listen to other tracks from this album, there are a few where he puts a lot more power behind his vocals and uses more range.

Vehemence the Phoenix - The Red Shore..........Jamie's original band very much a different form of metal so it's hard to give a man new to a sub-genre a hard time he is still actively learning. Kuddos!

Jamie isn't a "metalcore" vocalist and a lot of people forget his upbringing in The Red Shore who in the beginning were there when they toured with Crafter (original IKTPQ). His vocals are fine and remind me along the lines of Ed Butcher from Music for The Recently Deceased. Oh well it's just an opinion and Jamie is fine he started with The Red Shore he even admitted he is still learning. Oh well.
