I'm really surprised to read through the comments on this - I just finished listening through this version and thought "Damn, that was great, but I'm glad she changed it around a little for the album."I really feel like cutting down on the repetition was a brilliant move, and the percussion drives home this... this quiet rage that doesn't quite come across here. "I HAVE some NEWS. I HAVE some NEWS." She's in perfect control, but filled with such vitriol. It's one of my favorite moments of the album.

The album version of Master Hunter is the ONLY thing Laura's ever done that's left me disappointed. This version is so much better.

I love this song! I was a bit disappointed with the studio version, it lost the haunting quality that this one has. Still an awesome song though!

That's probably the best version of "Master Hunter" . I was disappointed with the studio version as well.

I always liked the, "I nearly put a bullet in my brain, when the water took me in." I don't really like that she replaced water with rhythm. but eh, its still a great song.

Can you imagine playing a whole set with those guys sitting a few feet in front of you with those looks? -_-
