Love the feel on this one. What a voice! Why is this guy/song not more known? According to his own story, he left the music industry because he wasn't getting paid and fell into depression and drugs and alcohol. After living on the streets for years he found Jesus, got clean and sober and is singing again. He just came on my radar after they played his music and he talked about his life on PBS radio.

He's fantastic. He was on the Jools Holland show in the UK a few years back but, unfortunately they did what they always do when they get people they would consider to be blues artists (as opposed to Northern Soul heros) over - stick them next to a piano with no backing or any other instruments. The poor guy is well into his seventies and could have used the help. He was here promoting a new album (2008 ish).
