I'll never forget a comment that I read a while back written by an older gentlemen about this song. He said that this song brings back memories of how he would dance to and sing this song to his now deceased wife. Listening to this song for him must have been bittersweet. For me, this song reminds me of how it feels to be loved unconditionally by someone. Knowing that whatever you do or say, however you change, mentally and physically as the yrs progress; there is someone who will always love you through it all. I feel so blessed to have been introduced to Sam Cooke at an early age. Even though I was born in the 80's, I still appreciate artist like Sam and many others who've paved the way for so many. This is the music that makes me happy and makes me want to cry in a good way. Today's music doesn't have this affect like the music my parents were blessed growing up with. I'm so glad that they shared it with me.
