Hi, I'm Dario and I love your way of seeing the art of singing. I have to ask you: in the last live I sang grace by jeff buckley in the middle of a concert and I couldn't sing the highest note of the song (never happened before). I thought the reason was that I started the live with "are you gonna be my girl" by jet (very rasp voice) Some advice? Thanks a lot.8 years ago

That event is going to happen sometimes around November 19, 2015. Starting from absolute zero do i have a chance of learning how to do it and train my voice enough so i wont hurt myself untill then? Hello Ken Tamplin !I'm a 13 year old boy, and I'm trying to learn how to put some rasp on my voice because I'd like to learn how to sing rock.The thing is I'm not sure if i'm doing it right, and for example if I start doing rasp on higher notes my voice gets kind of breathy and my larynx goes up to the back of my throat, is that normal?My voice already dropped (I think), my vocal range is F#2-A5 so probably a high baritone type of voice.Thanks !9 years ago

Thnx Ken, I actually learned how to sing by myself because of watching your youtube videos. I just had to look at the techniques you and your students are doing, but I had one strange problem, the way I sung lyrics from the songs. It was a bit off, but once I watched one of your tutorials with the exercise "La" going up the scale, I cracked the code and now my voice is perfect, thanks Ken! :)9 years ago
