Formed by Rich Froberg and John Reis in 1999, Hot Snakes came into being when Reis took time off from his other band, Rocket From The Crypt. The pair had a strong DIY ethic, with Froberg doing the artwork for all the band's releases and Reis releasing them on his label, Swami, and Elemental in the UK. This is their final fierce studio album 'Audit In Progress'. " It's a runaway bus that drags the listener in its wake like a loose muffler, bouncing and sparking on asphalt"
