By request, two more Herman's Hermits' BBC recordings. The first one, Hello Mary Lou, was recorded exclusively for BBC, unreleased on disc. This Gene Pitney composition was released for the first time back in 1961 by Rick Nelson, in a double-A sided single with Traveling Man. Herman's Hermits' arrangement of this country hit is very similar to Rick's original, but played in the ever-enjoying Hermits way (reminds me of I Call Out Her Name, from Blaze). The second track presented here is the much known Sleepy Joe, but in a different live version. Note the complete ending, instead of the fade-out of the single version. I prefer this version than the released one, mainly because the bass and the drums have more punch. Hope you like it. Leonardo, Brazil.
