Dio, Appice and Geezer then returned to Iommi to record 'Dehumanizer' as Black Sabbath again. Which followed with the remaining two Martin era albums, 'Cross Purposes' and 'Forbidden'. After this Sabbath effectively retired until a reunion with Ozzy in the late 90s. Which only resulted in two songs as Ozzy choose to focus more on his solo work. Geezer, Iommi, Dio and Appice created Heaven & Hell after all of this. (I hope that covers everything. If not, please feel free to ask anything else)

At first they released 'Born Again' with Deep Purple's Ian Gillan. They're only release with Gillan it brought commercial success, although not great reviews. After that was Iommi's first attempt at a solo release called 'Seventh Star'. Unfortunately due to pressures by Warner Bros. Records it was billed as Black Sabbath release. Following this came the Tony Martin era. With Iommi as the only remaining founding member, Sabbath released 'The Eternal Idol', 'Headless Cross' and 'TYR'.

Ha. No idea. He was kinda young when he was a bassist though, then again he still played later in life. Iommi's autobiography mentions Dio playing bass sometimes during jam-sessions or when thinking of bass lines with Geezer. Maybe he found one at a size better suited for him, or maybe it was never a problem for him. Still, beats me. Ha.

He was in a little known band called Elf in the early 70s along with the first couple of Rainbow albums.
