Dio was kind of bullshit, I mean, he was already pretty much the best metal singer of all time, but even into his 70s and up til his death...he could fucking blow away any other singer that could compete with that title after they fucking hit 30. I mean, look at most of the singers that do all the crazy operatic vocalization stuff. Once they start to get out of their 20s, they can't hit high notes. Dio just lost a little pronunciation. Saw Black Sabbath 2 years ago with Ozzy at the helm.......I am a Bass player so went that night with most of my interest being focused on Ozzy and Geezer, but when the show started, with WAR PIGS, and to the right of the stage that tall black leather figure with dark shades walked out playing the riff..........well only way to explain it is........' it was the first and only time in my entire Life that I was utterly and completely Star struck'....Tony Iommi is the ultimate Rock God hands down.8 years ago
