as a floyd purist, i can say that the song was a kick ass fuck you to greedy record labels and the music industry. this one doesnt really take any of the anger of the the original away. floyds was more surreal.

You don't have to be a Floyd purist to be offended by this crap. You just have to have good taste. Dave Grohl is an unoriginal, parasitic douchebag, so it stands to reason that this song would go right over his head and result in the stupidest, most free-of-soul cover of this ever.
