I dont understand the hate in this thread. This version has the raw energy the original *should* have had. Sure, it could still be better, but it's definitely not bad, and probably one of the best Floyd covers out there (before you even bring it up, just fuck off with your Les Claypool and Primus shit). This sucks. I've never liked the whole, "lets repeatedly strum three power chords and not play a solo so that the only thing unique about the song is the vocal melody." Alternative/punk is just pop music with guitars.

Tried listening through the first chorus, but I've never enjoyed this 90s-style "IN-YOUR-FACE WALL OF DISTORTION" stuff. The original has its own independent bass line, has lead and rhythm guitars alternating, has *sustained* notes and chords, and has vocals mixed up front. They're kinda dumbing the song down. If this is "updating", I'll stick with "vintage".
