if not Axl have had his grand visions about guns n roses future then Slash and duff probably would be dead in a ditch by drug OD. that don't mean i don't like Duff n Slash. i love the guys but i think slash should be more thankfull to the ideas Axl had on making videos and stuff.. it made them one of the biggest rock bands on the planet and ALOT of money and fame to do whatever they want now musicallysorry for bad grammar //swedish

Axl founded GNR, named GNR, was always the creative catalyst, and along with Izzy wrote 85% of the material. Not too mention, that Slash quit the band against Axl's wishes. Axl tried very hard to get him to stay. Axl is the only one who tried to keep it alive when everyone else had given up. People just hate on Axl, because its a more convenient narrative to believe.

That interview with Duff was actually done in 1993, around the time 'Believe In Me' was reeased. In May, 1994, his pancreas burst, and by 1995, Duff was working on getting sober.

Actually Duff recently said in an interview that nobody in the band caused the break-up of Guns N' Roses, it was the lawyers...

@Estranged68 No one actually screwed up the band. Axl had psychological problems, he had an awful childhood. He just tried to save guns, all he did was this. Slash and duff had heroin problems. The band just slowly collapsed. If you buy Slash's book you'll understand better, so just read the book.

What song is this and Axl Rose did not screw GN'R, Slash did cause him & Duff was highly addicted to heroin and cocain and Axl warned them in '91 that if they didn't cut or stop their serious drug addictions then they would be kicked out of GN'R..
