How the heck? This wasn't on my copy of 21st Century Breakdown! I have the normal copy, and it's on CD? Is this a vinyl only song?

Yes, but you see, GREEN DAY never wanted to be just a punk band. They've said so many times, and Mike said that they wanted to experience all aspects of music.

Back in 1996 Dookie was more famous than uno dos tre and american idiot combined. You couldn't walk past a school parking lot without hear longview or basket case.

The songs that u have listed are nice songs, but they are nowhere near the old stuff like Dookie and Kerplunk, and they are definitely not the raw punk rock that Green Day was famous for.

Please tell me how after listening to Kill the DJ, Sweet 16, Oh Love, Stray Heart and The Forgotten you can still call that punk... 21CBD had some punk elements, even though that's considered one of their most mainstream albums. But the trilogy is just anything but punky. However, there's the awesome Let Yourself Go which is nearly as punk as their older stuff. What the trilogy needed was a rawer, heavier production to make it sound at least somewhat punk.

If you don't think this is punk, they have never been punk. This doesn't sound too different from their older stuff. In 2000 lightyears away, BJA sings about missing his love. That is, anything but punk. This is as punky as a lot of their older stuff, song-wise. Off course the production is better, Billie's vocals aren't as snotty anymore.. but still, it's not far off at all :/

Some country isn't bad though, I can tolerate it.
