A great cover song for a blues band looking for an unusual chord progression.

The only song that I have played over, and over, and over, and over.... and, uh, over....over...and over, again. :)

My real name's Peter and was lucky to see Jerry around 17X or so. Aahhhhh, these words...

One of the Dead's best, with it's rambling beat and haunting melody. Written by Robert Hunter, it echoes with the sound that Jerry and Pigpen had. Bobby Weir was not yet a strong influence on the band's sound, although he already showed his mastery of rhythm.

Awesome album! I still have the original that my sister gave me when I was 4 or so, as well as many other Dead albums. I am a lucky girl :)

People say "Jerry had a way with words" but actually all the words were written by Robert Hunter, the invisible member.

So good - and so necessarily relevant for all the dead people you ever knew. Fabby.
