**This remastered audio track features Rob Grill** Rare clip of the original members: Bill (Willie) Fulton, Denny Ellis, David Stensen, and Joel Larson. (I dubbed new audio, as the original was poor quality.)

Lol, you should check out the long thread of comments here with various people about the evolution of not only the group, but the song! I had this video, but the sound was so bad that I felt compelled to 'fix' it, which in hindsight wasn't a great idea. I thought I had Willie, but it turned out I didn't. Only after I bought the now-scarce 'original' WWYWINY cd (RevOla label)...did I recognize the difference!! I also have the Anthology and will check out Tip Of My Tongue again :)

Yes, I saw and appreciate that. I was reinforcing what you wrote in the description. I am most familiar with Rob's vocal; it was weird to hear Bill's/Willie's at first, not realizing at the time that there was an Grass Roots incarnation that preceded the one Rob Grill was in. I think Bill does a good job too, especially on Tip Of My Tongue (see the Grass Roots Anthology on Rhino Recods).

You are correct and that is why I had indicated this in the description! And... if you look at the video, there is a link that will take you to the same video, original audio with Willie on lead.

No offense intended to the poster below but version this is not Willie Fulton but Rob Grill. Both sang different versions to the same backing track.

It's interesting you have autism and talk about it. Good for you. Thanks for uploading this. It is a fascinating part of rock and roll history. Grass Roots, one of my all time fav bands.

@JoeDeceiver Yes! Thank you :) I probably would have posed the same question, had I gotten the chance to see him perform again....

@bze2nlz4 Back in ought-four I had a chance to ask Rob Grill about this whole P.F. Sloan business and he also stated that the version Sloan recorded was never put on a record nor released as a single, but that his (Grill's) version is often erroneously labled as Sloans.

@geowhizkid26 Sounds like a lot of us have been seeking P.F. Sloan lately...but no one knows where he has gone.

@geowhizkid26 In addition, the remastered 2005 cd of this album by Rev-Ola contained several mistakes in labeling and recordings. They actually duplicated one of the WWYWINY recordings, so instead of having the three different versions, there were really only two...Fulton's (2) and Grill's (1).

@geowhizkid26 (Continued...) The user 'dllewiszz' contacted PF Sloan last January by email and confirmed that the first recording of his version is is nowhere in circulation. However, I do appreciate your input :)

@geowhizkid26 I am the poster of this vid and after weeks of research and comparisons, it was determined that the audio here is actually Rob Grill (I ripped it from the '71 'Grass Roots 16 Greatest Hits' cassette). By the time I determined this, I did not want to remake the video. Fulton's and Grill's vocals were so similar, the differences were virtually undetectable, and the backtrack was the same.
