Oh my gosh I am 16 again, with this tune playing on the record player, over and over again. LOL Luv the Grass Roots... They were all so nice looking, and so was Kenny Rogers. I love how they were having such fun, and also they are dressed, but still looking good!.. I can't remember the keyboardist name, but he was so good looking, along with Rob Brill.

Groovy....Any band that has "Creed" from the show "The Office" as an original member has to be extra cool. Youtube "the office boat cruise" and watch him do a little live blues shredding....it never made the air.......but yeah, he still has it.... and yes that is him in this video on lead guitar. Go Creed, YOU DA MAN....

Why are they not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ?

Yes, 2 countries, the United States and Canada divided by the late Sixties, hippy counterculture, Woodstock generation as illustrated by The Grass Roots. Luckily I found peace in January 1972 working on tobacco growing equipment in the barn.

GREAT live vocals from the whole band! Music is canned, unfortunately.

Didn't even recognize Kenny Rogers (a legend in Country Music in his own right) in this video even though I did recognize the voice. This song would turn out to be the last big hit for the Grass Roots.

I could just "gush" about these guys!! This one gets in my head, and I can't get it out! One of the best songs ever! And they are really, really cute!
