Weird sitting here in 2013 and for some reason this song came into my mind and I never thought about it for over 20 years.I never knew the name and I searched everything only with the mona Lisa and Joan of Arc part as a reference and I found it.Never knew Parker sang it and what an incredible song it is.

I think I have a legitimate bitch. I have lots of The Chairman's albums. Yet, I cannot find lyrics without the notes and chords. Knowing Parker like I do, he has many more criticisms and legitimate bitches about the web that I have. Attorneys..they have to live. Why? Don't have a clue. What happened to OUR internet?

I love this album. My faves are Back In Time, and Success. But all of them are pretty damn good.

Saw Graham Parker about 8 years ago in Omaha - Gigantic bar setting and about 20 people showed up. Pathetic! That was one of the best concerts I've seen. He didn't care and we were nuts for him: Graham: "Small but powerful, come on up!" And we did! One of the smartest, big value per song artists ever. Great lyrics, irrepressible beats. You missed one of the great ones if you don't know Graham - start w/Mona Lisa Smile if you want to check it out. Phenominal album top to bottom.

@11xzxzxz ok, i apologize... but i was upset about you calling elvis a sell-out, because i love his music (granted, his earlier stuff). you have your opinion, just like everyone else, and i am sorry for attacking you. thank you for your tact in replying to me.

Awesome song!!!! What a pro!!! Fantastic!!!! Perfect!!! It's even more impressive when you consider that Graham Parker was playing it not with his real band! I love the lyrics!
