My all-time favorite song by one of my favorite "fair-skinned soul sistas." This came out around '82, but I didn't hear until around the time I was ten ('84 or so). It was my intro to Carole King. I didn't know the first thing about TAPESTRY or anything, but I knew that I loved THIS song. This was after her peak period in the early '70s, but even though the sales slowed the quality of the work was still STELLAR. Please enjoy and comment.

Carole King's music is timeless! "Tapestry" came out my senior year of high school. When I first heard "It's To Late" I was hooked! Her voice isn't great, but it's what she does with her voice that makes it great---if you know what I mean! She makes you feel what she's feeling! Her melodies are fantastic! Her "Tapestry album is still selling today and sometimes you'll see it in the top 200. Pretty good considering it's 42 years old! 10 years ago
